Hymn Festival & Inspirational Songs of Gratitude
Invitation for Community Choir Members!
Community Day of Thanks! is a special gathering for everyone in our local community to join together in an expression of gratitude and reflection through music and art. Featured will be beloved hymns and inspirational songs of the season including the Madison Area Community Chorus, Ringing Badgers Handbells Ensemble, guest brass, audience hymn singing, and more!
To truly make this a community wide celebration, we invite you and all interested choir members to join the special combined choir being formed for this event. The choir is open to singers in all voice parts, individuals and full or partial choirs are encouraged to participate. There is no cost to join the choir.
Since we understand your choir schedule is busy, we have organized an efficient rehearsal and performance schedule with exciting musical selections requiring minimal rehearsal time together.
Two Rehearsal Options (singers are asked to attend at least one rehearsal location)
Tuesday, November 17, 6:30-8pm, Middleton High School, 2100 Bristol Street, Middleton, WI
Thursday, November 19, 7:30-9:00pm, Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1021 Spaight Street, Madison, WI
Two Performances (both at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Madison)
Saturday , Nov. 21, 7:00pm
Sunday, Nov. 22, 3:00pm
Combined Choir Selections (all provided on loan at rehearsals)
