Fall 2026 - MCC Welcome nights
The Madison Community Chorus offers Welcome Nights for new singers in all voice parts as an opportunity to sing with the chorus and consider joining. There is no audition to attend Welcome Nights or join the group, all are welcome to sing! For questions, please contact our director, Mark Bloedow.
  • ​When - Monday, September 14, 6:30pm, as well Mondays, September 21 and 28. If you can't make the first week, no worries—you can easily join us the following week.
  • Where - Immanuel Lutheran, 1021 Spaight Street, Madison
  • Parking & Accessibility -  There is free parking available in the lot adjacent to the entrance and across the street (including the Wilmar parking area). The building is fully accessible with an elevator to the lower level if needed. Rehearsals are held on the main entrance level with no stairs.
  • What to expect - Welcome Nights are a great way to get acquainted and sing with MCC. If you like, it's perfectly fine to attend Welcome Nights for a week or two before deciding to join.

Madison community chorus

The Madison Area Community Chorus is a four-part mixed community choir based in Madison, Wisconsin. The group is an integral part of the Maestro Productions family of performers and includes singers of all ages and backgrounds from throughout the Madison area. There is no audition to join the chorus. Dr. Mark Bloedow is the chorus's founding artistic director.

The chorus enjoys an exciting performance schedule each season presenting concerts in collaboration with the Ringing Badgers Handbell Ensemble and Maestro Community Orchestra, as well as, guest appearances with other community groups. Music selections vary for each event and represent a wide cross section of choral repertoire including major Classical choral works, standard choral favorites, traditional and contemporary cantatas, and lighter inspirational works.  

A positive, team oriented, sharing atmosphere at rehearsals and performances is focused on nurturing individual singers and the collective talents of the group to provide inspirational performances for our audiences.
