Maestro Handbell Ensemble

Auditions for our 2009-2010 season on now!

Dedicated to advancing the art of handbell ringing, the Maestro Handbell Ensemble continues Maestro's tradition of high quality inspirational performances.  Ringers who enjoy playing intermediate to advanced handbell music, are invited to audition. Maestro Productions is a non-profit community arts organization founded in 1989.

The Maestro handbell program began in the mid 1990's under the direction of Maestro's founder Mark Bloedow. The devotion and commitment of Maestro participants and friends made it possible for Maestro to purchase four octaves of Malmark Handbells and three octaves of Malmark Choirchimes, as well as, the necessary equipment. Over the years, the group has enjoyed playing for Maestro concerts, programs at area retirement communities, and for area community groups and organizations.

The ensemble enjoys camaraderie and team oriented rehearsals and performances with all performers in the Maestro family.  A positive and sharing atmosphere nurtures the individual and collective talents of the group to provide inspirational performances for our audiences. This positive team-focused philosophy has been central to Maestro's mission since the beginning and has produced many wonderful experiences for the group and enjoyable concerts for our audiences.

The motto from our early years says it best..."We're doing the best we can!"
