Mark Bloedow, Executive Director

Mark Bloedow is the Executive Director of Maestro Productions, Inc., the organization he founded in 1989. Since that time the organization, a 501C(3) non-profit, has grown to encompass a wide variety of efforts focused on the presentation and promotion of inspirational musical and theatrical presentations. Maestro's headquarters and main office is located in Madison, Wisconsin. In addition, the organization has recently established a Fox Cities' Branch after many years of production in Northeastern Wisconsin.

Mr. Bloedow serves as the Director of Worship & Music at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Madison, Wisconsin, where he manages the extensive music program, directs musical ensembles, and serves as principal organist, for the congregation of some 5,000. Recently he was invited to be the guest director for the Madison Area Concert Handbells' (MACH) 2008 Spring Season. He is also serving as Past President of the Madison area Association of Church Musicians after having served on the ACM Executive board as President for two years and Vice President for one. He has served as an adjunt music professor at Concordia University Wisconsin leading Kammerchor (CUW's touring choir) and teaching at the graduate level in the Masters of Church Music program.

In addition, he has performed as an organ recitalist in Appleton, Madison and Oshkosh, Wisconsin, and Lincoln, Nebraska. A CD recording, Christmas Classics, with performers from Maestro Productions, Inc. is available.

His handbell and organ works are published by Concordia Publishing House, St. Louis, MO; MorningStar Music Publishers, Fenton, MO; and Midwest Music, Madison, WI. His newest collection of organ music for Advent, Christmas, and Epiphany, He Comes to Us, is published by Concordia Publishing House.

Recognized as a leader in positive Christian musical and dramatic performances, Mr. Bloedow has been privileged to share in the inspirational and faith building experiences of participants and audience members.

Mark Bloedow earned his Bachelors of Music Education from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in 1990 where he graduated with Outstanding Senior recognition. He received his Masters of Church Music in December 1999 from Concordia University Wisconsin, Mequon.
